What key challenges did you need help with before you started using Genio?
Tom: In terms of the key challenges that I needed help with before I started using Genio, they were related to neurodiversity, ADHD, Autism difficulty. Taking notes sometimes. I've just found using Genio Notes to be a helpful supplement to taking effective notes and also to generating multiple choice questions which I've found invaluable, invaluable when I've been doing my revision for my psychology degree. I've just sat an exam today that had a lot of multiple choice questions which were very much like the ones that Genio created based on my lecture slides. So yeah, and I feel like it's gone really well.
How has Genio helped you with those challenges and impacted your learning experience?
Tom: I suppose I've already covered this to some extent, but just in more detail, it's helped me to overcome challenges with wavering attention during lectures, I've used Genio as a helpful backup, supplement to my notes. So if there might be something that I didn't manage to pick up on during the lecture because my attention was wavering, I can go back to the recording, and rather than writing a note which might, I might not have the the cognitive load to to deal with at that other capacity to do at that moment, I can just hit important or hit review and then return to it later, and it's significantly streamlined my revision process, creating MCQs that are relevant to my assessments.
