What key challenges did you need help with before you started using Genio?
Russell Kamerow: My name is Russell Kamerow. I'm a student at SUNY Brockport and I've been using Genio for a year. Before I started here, I was having trouble reading. I have low vision, and text just becomes blurry for me. Being able to audio record lectures, in meetings with some of my professors, has been immensely helpful and being able to play those back, even putting notes in and being able to find certain sections where we were having the specific conversation was great.
How has Genio helped you with those challenges and impacted your learning experience?
Russell Kamerow: My name is Russell. I'm studying at SUNY Brockport and I've been using the system for a year. The challenges that this has helped me with is that I actually can pay attention to class and I don't have to feel the need to try to write every thing the professor says down. When I'm in small groups or study groups, it allows me to record and replay it. Also when I'm trying, I can put a little note in and it will save the spot for me. It's just an amazing program.
