Speaker: Retiba Hegazzi, Student at Louisiana State University

What key challenges did you need help with before you started using Genio?

Retiba Hegazzi: Hi, my name is Ratiba. I'm a first-year student at LSU and I've been using Genio for about 2 months now since the start of the semester. I have narcolepsy, so managing my energy levels while having long lectures and study sessions is really difficult for me, and I'm also just trying to figure out my routine, just being a first-year student, and adjusting to college.

How has Genio helped you with those challenges and impacted your learning experience?

Retiba Hegazzi: Genio's made a really big difference in how I manage my studies and keep up with my notes. Because of my narcolepsy, staying focused and taking notes is, like I said, really difficult for me. So, using Genio has saved me like a lot of time and made it very organized for me. It's definitely reduced my stress, improved my grades, and made me feel more confident about keeping up with my work. I spend less time searching for information that I missed during notes. So I can actually like focus on completing my assignments on time and making sure that they're done to the best of my ability. Overall, it's really helped me find a better balance between schoolwork and my personal life, just by limiting the amount of time I need to spend on notes because it helps me do that. Thank you.
