What key challenges did you need help with before you started using Genio?
Oscar Michael Fox: My name's Oscar Michael Fox. I'm studying music performance at Hull University for 3 years, to get my Bachelor's with Honors. I've struggled a lot for the first couple of terms mainly due to my neurodivergence. I've got ADHD and sensory, not sensory processing information. I find it really difficult to process information. So that's been a real struggle. And just the course load, the workload in general on the course has been quite heavy and I've really struggled quite a lot with the amount of assignments and organization as well, it's been a real problem for me, and it has been for quite a while.
How has Genio helped you with those challenges and impacted your learning experience?
Oscar Michael Fox: So, Genio's really helped with my stress to doing taking notes, because I really struggle with note taking during lectures and stuff. And it's really helped me consolidate everything that I've learnt. And it's taken up less time organizing the notes, because I've got a lot of notes that I've taken by hand, which I struggle to organize, but using Genio has been able to make, has allowed me to take notes on my laptop and I can read through the transcript and read through the important things in the lectures, which will, which help me consolidate everything. Yeah, it's been really, really helpful, really beneficial to have the app and the software.
