What key challenges did you need help with before you started using Genio?
Noah Wisiniewski: My name is Noah Wisiniewski, and I'm a student at SUNY Erie North Campus in Buffalo, New York. Currently, I'm in my first semester of college, in my first year studying business administration. I'm the first person in my family to ever attend college. Part of attending college is hard for me is because I have autism spectrum disorder, I have OCD, I have neurofibromatosis, I have a learning disability, and I have auditory processing issues and sensory issues. I have had IEP plans and I've had 504 plans as part of those accommodations that I get from them. I get things such as extended times and tests and quizzes, having to take tests in other rooms. I've had to be able to type my notes instead of writing them because I find writing difficulty and I struggle with taking adequate notes.
How has Genio helped you with those challenges and impacted your learning experience?
Noah Wisiniewski: Part of using Genio has made it easier for me to have adequate notes that are on the important key concepts that I have, which helps to further my understanding of difficult subjects. In other ways, Genio has made made studying more effectively and efficiently because essentially it's allowing me to maintain a balance between both my school and my personal life through its ease of me just labeling things as important and it's easy to organize based on that. And because of this, I feel more confident in my studying techniques, and I feel that I'm actually having a chance to pass and do well in my courses because I'm able to. Understand it better cause my notes are labeled better. And because of this, it's just organized, it's efficient, it's effective, it's better than what I could have done by myself without it, which I much appreciate.
