What key challenges did you need help with before you started using Genio?
Meredith Black: Hi, my name is Meredith, and I'm studying at MacEwan University. I've been using Genio Notes since last September and finding it incredibly helpful for school. It's really great to be able to record lectures, plus it has many amazing features that make studying a lot easier. You can insert slides from a lecture and post them at specific times, make notes at the same time, highlight important info, create headings and sections for review. You can reduce the high pitch filter, apply noise cancellation and click reduction, then slow down or speed up the audio once you have it recorded. It's really helpful for getting a deeper understanding of the material and helpful if your mind ever wanders, if you miss something, you don't understand something, you can go over it as many times as you like later on. It really helps to keep things organized and saves a lot of time. And I would really recommend Genio Notes. It is a life changer.
How has Genio helped you with those challenges and impacted your learning experience?
Meredith Black: I feel like Genio has really improved my learning experience. It's really helped with my grades. It's helped increase my confidence. It's been really amazing for creating more work-life balance. I don't need to spend as much time organizing my notes because Genio essentially does it for you. If you have the lecture recorded, and you've posted the lecture, and you've created notes as the lecture goes along, it's just all in one spot. All very organized. It's a huge time saver. It's helped with my stress levels. It's helped me to become more confident with studying. It's been really great as a mature student who's also working and doesn't always have a lot of time, which I feel a lot of students struggle with. It's just time is always a big issue. It is amazing, and I would highly recommend it.
