What key challenges did you need help with before you started using Genio?
Marianne Silva: Hello, my name is Marianne Silva. I currently attend the University of South Florida as a biological health science major. I first started using Genio about five or six months ago in August of 2025, and it has helped me immensely because I struggle with, because I have my, my learning disability, I struggle a lot with staying on track and not getting distracted and kind of losing pace in my coursework. So, being able to not only use it for my lectures by recording my professors and really retaining all the information afterwards so I can listen back on the audio, but also the study tools. I've always struggled with studying and like losing track of like what I'm doing, so that's helped me immensely.
How has Genio helped you with those challenges and impacted your learning experience?
Marianne Silva: Genio has helped me because, like I said before, I have always struggled with really staying on track of my work, so, the many times that I've basically wasted hours just studying material and not retaining any of it, Genio has really helped like kind of break things down and to the point where I can actually really understand it because my brain doesn't work, I feel like at the same pace as like reading a book and really just like writing key notes. And because it already does that for me, it kind of just limits that distraction and that waste of time that I usually do whenever it comes to studying. So really just being able to hear back the audios and the fact that it transcribes that, and creates like notes for me is really helpful.
