What key challenges did you need help with before you started using Genio?
Lila Kaufmann: Hi, I'm Lila. I'm studying at the University of Nevada and I have had Genio since August, and one of the big challenges that I needed help with was just being physically able to take notes, because I have chronic arm pain. And so writing a whole bunch is really painful for me. And so having Genio was really helpful, for just being able to physically record what was going on in class.
How has Genio helped you with those challenges and impacted your learning experience?
Lila Kaufmann: So using Genio has been really helpful because it just allows me to record everything that is going on in class. And so I can, I'm able to review it later without being able to, since I have my pain, it's hard for me to take notes. It's really helpful. And I really like that it has headings with it too, so you can just quickly type in a heading, and then when you look back over your notes, when you click on the heading, it will take you to that part of the recording where it's mentioned, so you don't have to listen to an entire two hours of the lecture, but you can just jump to the specific part that you were maybe confused on or wanted to review. So it's just a really effective way for if handwriting notes is not working for you.
