What key challenges did you need help with before you started using Genio?
Landon Finn: Hi there. My name is Landon Finn. I am a senior political science major at the University of Colorado Boulder. And I've been using Genio for the past year and a half since I was introduced as I transferred here as a senior, in the fall of 2024. One of the key challenges that I needed help with before I started using Genio was processing information. It's something I've always struggled with. And it affects me in the way of like, a professor will explain the concept to me. However, I don't necessarily understand it the first time. And so, I need to be able to go back and review the information, which has been provided to me in order for me to fully comprehend and understand what is all being said.
How has Genio helped you with those challenges and impacted your learning experience?
Landon Finn: Genio has helped me with these challenges, as the application not only allows for lectures to be recorded, however, it also provides a transcript and an outline. Initially, I can insert my notes and PowerPoints into Genio. And so what I'm able to do then is I'm able to go back and I'm able to listen to the lecture video from earlier in the day, so that way, I have an opportunity to understand what the professor is saying to me, in case there is something that I do not understand. That is probably my favorite thing about the app.
