What key challenges did you need help with before you started using Genio?
Kimayah : Hello everyone, my name is Kimayah, and I am a 3rd year Bachelor of Arts student at Grant MacEwan University in Canada, and I'm doing a major in psychology and then a minor in sociology. I have been using Genio Notes since over, I would say, almost a month, and I saw one of my classmates use it, and I loved it. I found it really interesting and I asked my classmate more about it. And I love that particular feature of being able to record the lectures and also being able to get live captions for them, which is, I think, really helpful. Since I'm a working student, I'm a part-time worker while being a full-time student. So I feel like recording my lectures and having a note of that is really helpful for me, because I can go back to those notes and transcript, and hear my professor say the exact same lecture and just go over through it again.
How has Genio helped you with those challenges and impacted your learning experience?
Kimayah : So when talking about my challenges that I used to face before using Genio Notes, that would include like high levels of stress, not having work-life balance, and my on and off spike with my grades, sometimes I would do good, sometimes I would not do as much as I expect myself to like show up in my academic performance which I feel like Genio Notes has really helped me with. I can see a consistency in my grades, you know, higher grades. I have been able to enjoy my life as well as my work life, like my personal life and work life, which has, you know, helped me enhance my work life balance. Other than that, I've also seen, I've stopped stressing as much as I would before. I've seen like a really good boost in my confidence because of my good grades and being able to- not being able to stress that much, and the number of time, the amount of time that I've been spending on organizing my notes, so that's how Genio has helped me with.
