What key challenges did you need help with before you started using Genio?
Jodi : Hi, my name's Jodie. I'm studying at Birmingham City University in England, and the challenges that I needed help with before Genio were focus, note taking, and my productivity. So, being able to recall the things that I actually did during the lecture, noting things down that were really important. But also visually, I'm a visual learner, so I needed something that would help me, use those learning styles and help me study further on my student course, on my uni course.
How has Genio helped you with those challenges and impacted your learning experience?
Jodi : I'm much more engaged with my work in the lectures. I'm less distracted because I can import my lecture, I can time stamp a specific area that I want to revisit later. I can type notes at the same time. I can put pictures of memes in there to help me remember because of being a visual learner, so things like that are really good for me. And I can listen back to the recordings or look at the transcription, just to have a look at the wording, anything particular that the lecturer said that was really helpful. So this allows me to take this away and listen to it in the car or listen to it while I'm doing the ironing or something. It works in line with my everyday routine, which is something that I've always needed.
