What key challenges did you need help with before you started using Genio?
Jacob : Hello, my name is Jacob. I am a computer science major at the University of Central Oklahoma, and the challenges that Genio has helped me with is, honestly, I'm very easily distracted in class. If somebody is like tapping on the desk or with like a pen or anything like that, I can my attention can get pulled away very quickly, and then that can cascade into not understanding the next topic because I didn't understand the topic before and stuff like that. So having my classes recorded for me has been such a huge help, so I can go back and actually listen to what I missed or even have it summarize topics that I was not fully grasping. So that's how Genio has helped me.
How has Genio helped you with those challenges and impacted your learning experience?
Jacob : Genio has helped me overcome some academic challenges with the audio recording feature. I always just as soon as the class starts, I start recording the audio, and if I miss something during class, which I am very easily distracted, so it's probably going to happen, I can always go back and listen to that recording at whatever time I need. I also like how it summarizes information for you, so you're not constantly just digging through the transcript of the the recording, and also if I'm just not understanding the way that my instructor taught it, it summarizes it and I can probably more often than not understand it from that summarization.
