What key challenges did you need help with before you started using Genio?
Jack: So I have ADHD and I'm a first year student, and I really, really struggled with basically concentrating on lectures. So Genio allowed me to look back in my notes and look back at the lecture and kind of coordinate, coordinate my notes in the lecture, so they made a bit more sense and weren't just a kind of incoherent rambles, kind of random sentences, I guess.
How has Genio helped you with those challenges and impacted your learning experience?
Jack: I mean I hope this impacts my grades because I mean, I've not really any tests back yet, but in terms of work-life balance, I don't need to do my notes as soon as the lecture's finished. And when it's fresh in my brain, because it's recording, I can do it later. It's definitely helped stress levels, because, again, I can do them later, so it just makes things easier and quicker to organize, and it makes me more confident when I'm studying. It also means I spend less time organizing notes because I don't need to search through like various slides and textbooks to find that I can just find the exact wording of what the lecturer said and use that, which is just more helpful, it's more simple, and it just makes my life easier.
