What key challenges did you need help with before you started using Genio?
Isabella Malacsina: Hi, my name is Isabella. I'm studying at Palm Beach State College. I've had Genio for about 6 weeks now. I've had a few challenges academically wise. I have ADHD and I'm also the first person in my family to go to college in the US, so I'm figuring out the system as I go. English is also not my first language, and I also work as a freelancer and actor on the side, so time isn't really on my side.
How has Genio helped you with those challenges and impacted your learning experience?
Isabella Malacsina: So Genio has specifically helped me in fully understanding my coursework. As I said before, English isn't my first language and I also have ADHD, so I take like a little more time to fully understand topics in school, whatever they may be. The recording function on Genio helps me go back on sections of the lecture, and it really helps me to like really understand what my professor is saying. I can't really hear that well either. Genio also helps me to save time and manage a good work and life balance. I talked before, I work, I work as an actor and freelancer as well as a full-time student. So if there's any way I can really save time, I'm going to take it. And because my work-life balance is bettering, my stress is decreasing altogether and my confidence in my coursework is skyrocketed. I used to have a pretty low GPA in high school, but with Genio, I have a 4.2 average GPA. Thank you.
