What key challenges did you need help with before you started using Genio?
Erick: Hello, my name is Eric and I go to Arizona State University, and I am a first year psychology student as well as a first generation student. I have ADHD, so processing information or words quickly has always been a trouble with really no solution until I got Genio Notes in October 2025, so about 4 months I've had it. It is great to have all my notes in an organized way, as well as having captions to help me look back and understand what the teacher said. As well as understanding what the lesson was about so I could learn better, I would recommend it to anyone that has accessibility accommodations, and even for those who don't, and Genio's app has made my schooling much better, and I appreciate it very much.
How has Genio helped you with those challenges and impacted your learning experience?
Erick: I've always had a problem with words going in one ear and going out the other, and it has always affected my schooling even since elementary. I have also sometimes zoned out during class and I miss critical information I would need later on. The Genio's recording feature lets me go back and see what the teacher said, so I'm able to understand much better. In the past, I was under so much stress as I felt like I didn't have the skills for college and that I shouldn't have been there and I wasn't meant for it, but talking to accommodations helped me a lot and showed me the great benefits of the Genio App It has helped my studying, grades as well as my mental health and taken off a lot of stress. The Genio App makes me feel like I belong in a classroom as well as anyone else.
