What key challenges did you need help with before you started using Genio?
Craig Loomis: Hi, my name is Craig Loomis. I am a student at Western Technical College in La Crosse, Wisconsin. I am a veteran, and returning to school after many years to learn a trade. My challenges basically are hearing loss due to the military as well as physical and some mental challenges that I have seeked out help through the access services here at the college to provide me Genio. It has been very beneficial, very helpful, so far. And I use the recording to record the presentations in class and have been using that since school began.
How has Genio helped you with those challenges and impacted your learning experience?
Craig Loomis: Genio has really helped me to excel in school. I have come back after many years, to do college, and my grades are, are very good. I've been getting B's and A's. I've had less stress and less problems, concentrating with ADHD and anxiety and other behavioral health issues where I get distracted, Genio Notes has kept that information for me and helps me organize it properly. It also has helped me to be able to refer back to the notes that I don't hear because of my tinnitus or tinnitus, as they call it. And not being able to hear everything, having that presentation available has really helped me be successful. Thank you so much.
