What key challenges did you need help with before you started using Genio?
Charlotte : Hello, my name is Charlotte and I study creative writing at LJMU. I only got diagnosed with ADHD and Autism during my 2nd year of uni, so I've only been able to apply for support during my 3rd year, which is what I'm currently in. I've been using Genio for 2 months now and it has helped me so much in retaining and recalling information from my classes, being present and being part of discussions and answering questions in class because I don't need to worry about writing everything down and prioritizing it.
How has Genio helped you with those challenges and impacted your learning experience?
Charlotte : I didn't realize how much I needed support until I had it. I used to type as much information as we were given in lectures, writing down all information from slides and by doing so, missing what they told us was important verbally. Now I'm less anxious and maintain a better work-life balance by using Genio to organize my notes into slides from the PowerPoint headings and corresponding that to the audio. I also love being able to revisit it. And I never have to worry about missing out on important information again.
