What key challenges did you need help with before you started using Genio?
Avery Empson: Hi, my name is Avery, and I study at Volunteer State Community College in Tennessee. I've had Genio since the start of the school year. I got an email pretty early on into the semester that they offer it for free to students, so I decided to give it a try. I have been taking handwritten notes since I started back at school last year. I earned my certificate and I was really pushing the limits on the amount of time that I had. To get my assignments done just because I was taking so long to get through just the reading in a week where I was writing my notes by hand. So, Genio is a game changer. I can go into my, my online texts and just copy terms and paste them in. In takes me like 2 seconds versus handwriting out the terms, and I type in whatever I need to type in, and it's been such a game changer. It's helped me so much. It's cut way back on my time. How has Genio helped you with those challenges and impacted your learning experience?
Avery Empson: Genio has helped me with those challenges, and impacted my learning experience by just giving me more time, and that time is allowing me to have more time with my family and ultimately making things feel a lot smoother and a lot less stressful. I have 2 children and a husband, and I work, and it's just hard sometimes to fit everything into a week when you're going to school as an adult. And you have a family to take care of, and it's really helped me so much to be more confident in what I'm learning, to have notes that are so well organized and so easy to read, and it just takes no time at all to take them. It's such a helpful tool. I couldn't recommend it enough.
