What key challenges did you need help with before you started using Genio?
Asiel Mitchell: Hi, my name is Asiel Mitchell. I'm a biomedical sciences and pre-medical major at Utah Valley University. I've been using Glean now Genio for the past couple of months, and it has been extremely helpful for me specifically because there's a lot of lectures I have to record, there's a lot of notes I have to take, and all of that is extremely hard due to me having ADHD and some dyslexia. Genio has made it extremely easy for me to not only follow my lectures, but also go back to them after and to take very, very well written notes after the fact.
How has Genio helped you with those challenges and impacted your learning experience?
Asiel Mitchell: Genio makes classwork, lecture taking, and note taking extremely easy because it keeps not only your audio recording, but also the notes that you take in class on the same page. You're able to link them up and you're even able to use a very neat little AI overview tool for all of the audio notes that you take. It allows you to take your lecture and bring it out into complete words so that you're able to copy and paste parts from your lecture into your notes. And it even has this little overview button that allows you to take your written notes and give you a little bit of a quick overview so that you can remember what happened. All of this stuff has made it really, really easy for me to maintain my high grades and the standards required for me to keep all of my scholarships. I don't think I would be able to continue being where I am without the help of Genio.
