What key challenges did you need help with before you started using Genio?
Alana : Hello, my name is Alana and I'm studying at UC Riverside. I've been using Glean [now Genio] for the past month and a half, almost two months, and it has helped me with my typing since I acquired a recent physical disability after I broke my wrist from a car accident. I broke and dislocated my left wrist, so it's been really hard to type, but Glean [now Genio] has helped me out with that a lot.
How has Genio helped you with those challenges and impacted your learning experience?
Alana : Since I broke my wrist, I found it really difficult to type or just write my notes in general, and writing was OK, but when I had some desks that could not accommodate like a position for my other wrist, typing was really the only option. And since my typing ability was compromised, I couldn't necessarily write down all the points from professors or get through lectures and, you know, get all the information that I needed. So the transcription and the being able to create headlines and outlines or headings and outlines has really helped me.
