What key challenges did you need help with before you started using Genio?
Aimee McElreath: My name is Aimee McElreath. I'm a first-year student at Saint Leo University, and Genio has been really helpful to me. As somebody with autism spectrum disorder and ADHD, focusing on the lecture and taking notes has always been a very huge challenge for me. I started using Genio at the beginning of this year, and I was pleasantly surprised to what I could do with it. The review quizzes were not only simple, but they were very helpful, and they helped me to condense the brief points of the lecture into small, easy to understand outlines. I love their outline feature as well. It's very useful and just their very simple interface with its note taking has been really helpful. It's definitely helped me save time in my studies as I am super busy as a clinical psych major, so for that, I'm very thankful.
How has Genio helped you with those challenges and impacted your learning experience?
Aimee McElreath: Genio has been a key to me being able to maintain my work-life balance. As somebody who struggles a lot with anxiety and stress, having more time to enjoy my life and my studies because of Genio really makes a difference in my academic life. And so I do feel a lot more confident in studying, and I do feel like I don't need to spend as much time organizing my notes and having this terrible hassle all the time. So I'm very, very happy with how Genio has helped me with not only my autism and ADHD but just my general learning experience as well.
