What key challenges did you need help with before you started using Genio (formerly Glean)?
Tyler Mart: Hello, everyone. my name is Tyler, and I'm a graduate student at Arizona State University. I was first introduced to Glean when I went to the accessibility office here at Arizona State University.
Tyler Mart: That was my first exposure to Glean and when I started using it, I began to realize how much of a game changer it has been. Not only for me, due to my physical limitations, but also the impact it's had in my academic success.
How has Genio (formerly Glean) helped you with those challenges and impacted your learning experience?
Tyler Mart: Glean has had a significant impact on my academic success, not only with the ability of now effectively taking notes, but the seamless ability to go back and review my lectures and notes.
Tyler Mart: I've definitely noticed, um, more confidence in my ability to study for exams, midterms, and also just to review material that I might have missed during the actual lecture.
Would you recommend Genio (formerly Glean) to other students?
Tyler Mart: Absolutely, I would wholeheartedly recommend Glean to really any student, whether you're a student that has physical limitations and is looking for ways to succeed in a classroom, or if you're a regular student, I think it's good for just about anyone.
Tyler Mart: I think it's important to be able to go back. and listen to your lectures and really make detailed notes, compared to the traditional way of just taking notes while you're in class and hoping that you jotted everything down. Now you don't have to stress about that.
Tyler Mart: I definitely see a lot of benefit to Glean and it's been very helpful for me and certainly I would recommend it to anyone.
