What key challenges did you need help with before you started using Genio (formerly Glean)?

Kara Steele Chord: Hi, my name is Kara Steele Chord. I'm a first year student at Utah Valley University and Glean has helped me take notes and made studying a lot easier. I have ADHD and fibromyalgia, and if you know anything about those, especially in combination, it's focus and retaining information at all, and just overall stress is really hard. So having something that makes note taking and studying easier is definitely beneficial, and I'm very grateful.

How has Genio (formerly Glean) helped you with those challenges and impacted your learning experience?

Kara Steele Chord: So With ADHD, it tends to cause a lot of problems with focus and, of course, but also just retaining information in general. This makes it so that you don't have to focus on note taking while you're trying to learn. It makes it so that you can focus on actually looking at the information and taking it in and not have to stop the video to take notes. I do online learning, so it really cuts assignments and studying in half, by if not more than that. And so it's really beneficial where I can just like set it and it will take notes for me. And I can actually focus on the material.
