What key challenges did you need help with before you started using Genio (formerly Glean)?
Gaia: My name is Gaia. I'm a first year student doing English Literature and Philosophy at Keele University. I've been using Glean since September 2024.
Gaia: I have autism and dyspraxia. my brain works differently from others, and I'm a slow writer, so the university recommend I use your app so I can take better notes.
How has Genio (formerly Glean) helped you with those challenges and impacted your learning experience?
Gaia: Glean has impacted my learning experience in various ways. Because of my autism and dyspraxia, I found it hard to keep up, but now all I have to do is listen to the audio and rewatch the PowerPoint and take notes in my own time.
Gaia: I have time to myself and also have time to work. My grades have also improved considerably as well.
Would you recommend Genio (formerly Glean) to other students?
Gaia: I can recommend Glean to other students, especially to those with special needs.
Gaia: I love how the app is split into headings review and important and how you can take photos and draw things on the app.
