What key challenges did you need help with before you started using Genio (formerly Glean)?
Faakyewaa: Hi, I'm I'm Faakyewaa Friyie. I've had Glean for I think about 9 months now, I got it at the start of the academic year and I go to uni at Loughborough University in England.
Faakyewaa: I like that Glean kind of like synthesizes your notes, so like, even when you're adding notes, you can use it for revision, and that's why I really wanted it for, so that like all my revision would be in one place and like all the bits that I hear in lectures would also be part of my revision.
How has Genio (formerly Glean) helped you with those challenges and impacted your learning experience?
Faakyewaa: I feel like it worked pretty quickly in the sense of like when I was recording lectures. I felt like a lot of studying notes over again was taken out of the equation because I could just go back to the recording and look at the notes and like synthesize an audio. All these fun features you have on Glean made it easier to like learn pretty quickly. I'd like to say that the first month or so of me like just trying out Glean, like a lot of time was saved by using it.
Would you recommend Genio (formerly Glean) to other students?
Faakyewaa: Recommendations, absolutely, I know so many people that could benefit from Glean, just if they don't like taking notes or if like they learn differently, and that's another thing, learning through audio, I learn a lot from hearing things, so that's how Glean helps me, but y'all have so many cool features, I feel like it has something for everyone who doesn't learn traditionally.
