What key challenges did you need help with before you started using Genio (formerly Glean)?
Aubrey Medina: Hi, my name is Aubrey Medina. I go to Fresno State. I've been using the app for 3 years. The key challenges I would say before starting the app were how to save the recordings, how to mark the important parts in the recordings. But now, since I've been using it for 3 years, I find it very useful for each class I take, and being able to go back and listen to the recordings and the important parts that I mark, and then filling in my notes, it's beneficial to me. It's a good study tool to use. So, thank you.
How has Genio (formerly Glean) helped you with those challenges and impacted your learning experience?
Aubrey Medina: So this app has been able to help me deal with the challenges of time. Basically, when we're in class, you're only given a certain amount of time, so they're trying to cram all the lesson in that particular time. So being able to go back to my recordings, pause it as I need to, being able to fill in the notes, I wasn't able to feel, being able to remember key points in the listening to the videos in the recordings. So using those tools, this app as those study tools really helped me and benefit me during when exams come and tests come and quizzes come. So thank you.
Aubrey Medina: So I would say that this has helped me by being able to go back, go back and listen to my videos, go back and stop and pause the videos and fill in notes that I didn't fill out, fill in important keys, highlight important stuff in my notes so that using this tool helps me study for exams and finals and everything I need to study for. So I would say this really helps with time, time management, so thank you.
