What key challenges did you need help with before you started using Genio (formerly Glean)?
Alexa MacNeill: Hello, my name is Alexa McNeil. I'm a 3rd year student at the University of St. Mary's in Halifax. And I started using Glean because I have ADHD and I find it very difficult to, be able to write down my notes while I'm listening to the professor speak. And sometimes it's not always accessible to get a student note taker. And so I have been able to take detailed notes, review them, and be able to have a finalized, study guide of everything that happened during the lectures, and I don't feel like I'm missing something or if I'm having an off day, that I even just by showing up, I'm doing myself a favor because Glean has supported me through student note taking for myself. How has Genio (formerly Glean) helped you with those challenges and impacted your learning experience?
Alexa MacNeill: Glean has helped me be able to organize my notes, know what's been said confidently and knowing that I wrote everything down properly, to verify my understanding and comprehension. My grades have been I used to be a D student and like D/C+, and I just got uh B+ and A- throughout the semester, in 4th year courses as a 3rd year student. So, I am very, I'm very confident in my knowledge and everything that I have learned and been able to review everything that the professors have been saying to compare and contrast my notes.
