What key challenges did you need help with before you started using Genio?
Catherine King: My name is Catherine King. I study at Nashville State Community College. And I've been using Glean for a year, and the challenge is I needed help with this, I'm deaf, I need help knowing what is said in the videos, in the classrooms. And so Glean helped me, with the closed captioning and the wording, saying what everything is said in the videos. So it was really a good help.
How has Genio helped you with those challenges and impacted your learning experience?
Catherine King: As I said in the previous video, I am deaf, I can't hear. And Genio has helped me - before in school when I went to school, I couldn't hear, so my grades were low. It was hard for me to hear what everyone was saying, and so my grades were Cs and Ds and Fs. But with Genio, the Glean app I used, I've now got a 4.0 grade average because I can actually hear everything that is being said, or read it in the words, in the close captions, in the Glean app that translate everything. So yes, it is really helped tremendously. I mean, it really did.
