Marie Rittenberry: One thing I've been able to witness while at my placement site has been the community members coming to the store and realizing that there is a place for them to come within their community, in their neighborhood, in walking distance, even, where they can access affordable and nutritious food and that had previously not been available to them in this area. And public transportation in the area isn't great. So just getting to a place where they could find that is very time-consuming, lengthy process that has just made life more difficult and I'm really proud to be able to be a part of the market and being a part of a place that is able to offer that access to people in the community.
