After the Navy, Todd decided to do an IBM Z® Apprenticeship
Todd Monte: It's it's a it's been a ride. It really has been, there's been ups, there's been downs, it's been stressful, not gonna lie, but part of that has to do with retiring and getting out of the military. It's a whole another aspect. But now I have an apprenticeship where I'm getting paid at full time paycheck full time benefits, still got medical, still got dental, still got all the other health insurances that I need. I wouldn't pass it up for the world. It's a great experience so far.
His Success Coach has helped him every step of the way
Todd Monte: It's a, you're part of, I almost want to say you're part of a family. Because my mentor, my Success Coach, they're talking to me weekly. Regularly. How you doing, what's going on? How's your kids doing? How's the job doing? Are you having any problems, what can I do for you, How can we help.
And now Todd recommends apprenticeships to other veterans
Todd Monte: Yeah, so you're considering joining up with Franklin Apprenticeships? Stop considering just do it. It's not going to cost you anything. It doesn't hurt. They're going to give you training. They're going to reach out and talk to you, find out how you're doing, see what you're having a hard time in and offer guidance as to where to pursue from there. They're getting you a real job, a real job.
