Britt Launius: There are people that I work with on a daily basis that would have never imagined that their life circumstances could be what they are today.
As a Professional Success Coach, Britt helps apprentices succeed.
Britt Launius: I get to be there with them every step of the way until they graduate. And my job is getting to see them through to success on the other end. That's what motivates me.
For apprentices, having a coach to trust can be life-changing.
Britt Launius: I have actually seen apprenticeships unlock so much potential for individuals, but one example, in particular that I have is where I was working with an apprentice who could not afford to relocate and the job required relocation. I had established trust with that person and they felt like they could come and talk to me about it, and due to our established trust plus the relationship that we had with the organization, we were able to work out an opportunity where both parties could win in that circumstance. So not only was that apprentice able to relocate with a little bit of money in his pocket, but also the organization didn't miss out on what they would consider a gold star player on their team.
Britt sees how apprentices benefit the companies they work for too.
