Joseph C.: I applied for the IBM Apprenticeship because I felt like I was ready for a career change, something with more growth that I can achieve, and something that I can really just build a foundation for my career.
Joseph worked at the ACSC for five years before starting his IBM Z Apprenticeship.
Joseph C.: I started in PMG for the Auto Club. I was there for about two years, in PMG And then I did transition over to the insurance retention department and was there for about three years, prior to applying for the IBM apprenticeship.
Joseph values the support and encouragement from his Success Coach, manager and team.
Joseph C.: My Success Coach and manager have both been super helpful in easing into this transition of this new job. And this IBM Apprenticeship. My Success Coach has helped me answered a lot of emails regarding training and curriculum or even uploading evidence has been very helpful. And in those regards, you know he wants to see me succeed and I can definitely see that. My manager is Joseph Hoang. He's also been very helpful and has encouraged me to get more hands on training,
And the experience has been life changing.
Joseph C.: The apprenticeship experience has definitely been one of the best experiences of my life. It's opened so many doors, I've learned a lot.
Joseph is excited to keep learning.
Joseph C.: I'm grateful for the opportunity, but the experience has been fantastic thus far. and I am one of the last apprentices to start, I only started in July, so I definitely have a long way to still go and a lot more to still learn, so I'm excited to, you know, see how far I'll come by the end of my apprenticeship.

Joseph C.: If you work hard and this is something you you really want to achieve success in, then just work hard and you'll get there. You'll start learning and understanding day by day what goes into the I.T. field. I.T. field.
