Dahir dreamed of a career in tech
He found the Franklin Help Desk Apprenticeship via Google.
With Franklin, I cannot forget and I'm appreciative that the chance of just Googling led to this. so that's awesome.
He exceeded his manager's expectations from day one.
I think even the company that hired me, initially they had low expectations because it was their first time with the program. Then they also thought, "Maybe this guy, when he starts he's just gonna be with us for a couple of months and and leave," Right? So, even my manager, who I still keep in touch with, he was impressed how the I.T... how the apprenticeship program went and how I advanced in my learning, in my learning career right now in the I.T. field. So he was really impressed with that.
Experience isn't everything.
Even if someone doesn't have experience, doesn't mean they don't have the drive or the learning aptitude, to pick up something new. timely fashion. So it's just like,
Dahir has been promoted twice in two years.
Now, he looks forward to helping others get started in tech.
