Can you share why you’re interested in the Corporate Tax Assistant role?

Reema Parekh: Why am I interested in corporate tax assistant role? Uh This opportunity is really exciting as I will be working with the like minded professionals. I believe I have all the core attributes that you are looking for in the right candidate. I'm a fully qualified chartered accountant. I have experience of handling all uh tax affairs of the uh of my previous companies. I have filed returns, uh prepared profit and loss and balance sheets, uh vat returns and similar tax and account rolled in my career up until now. And I have a good experience with the reporting and meeting timelines whilst managing uh demanding workload. I'm a team player, collaborative uh collab, I have collaborated with the stakeholders to ensure that the work gets done. Uh I'm a effective communicator as I have had to work with people that are uh both finance uh literate and those that are not. Uh I'm a quick learner. I'm in a very short time. I had to uh I had to ramp up my uh uh ramp up very quickly in terms of my UK knowledge and also learn um new software uh after coming to this country.

Please share something about yourself that isnt on your CV.

Reema Parekh: Something about myself that isn't in my CV. Is that in my career up until now I have, uh, done va orders, internal audits, calculated and paid advance installment, uh, uh, quarterly installments, uh, worked on tax deducted at source of, uh, 200 plus employees. So I like making new friends and, uh, learn about new things. Uh, I, in my spare time I like to, uh, cook meditate. Um, dancing is my favorite hobby. And, uh, and badminton.

Describe your perfect company culture.

Reema Parekh: Perfect company culture would be where there is a clear vision and value. The company has a well defined mission and values that are communicated and uh upheld by everyone from top leaders to uh entry level employees where there is a transparency empowerment, employees should feel empowered to take ownership of their work and contribute. Ideas are the company that has a work like talent that has continuous learning and growth opportunities for the professional development and career advancements are readily available where learning is encouraged and fun and fun, professional and positive atmosphere uh which makes employees feel happy and motivated to come to work every day. And uh but there's a feedback culture as well.

Describe the perfect team

Reema Parekh: Uh the perfect team uh would be the one that has mutual respect and trust where uh team members respect each other's expertise, opinions and contributions, team with complementary skills and uh diversity. Uh where there is a strong, open and transparent uh communication. The one that has clear goals and roles, uh whether there is a collaborative spirit accountability, each member should take their responsibility for their actions and commitments, whether there is recognition and rewarding success.
