What is your name (if you are happy to share) and who is your FLM Adviser?
Lee veitch: My name is Lee. Each and my advisors are Harry and Trish.
Can you tell us a little bit about your journey with FLM and your adviser?
Lee veitch: My experience with FLM has been pretty close to seven years now. Um I was a little bit dubious in the beginning, um with some cold outreach. Um, but when I met Harry for the first time, uh, you know, I, I felt he was a trustworthy guy and ultimately had my and my family's best interests at heart and, you know, it's been a really, really good journey. Um, so much so that I've, at this point probably introduced over 10 people to Harry and Trish and also they've also introduced more people. So, um I think that's a testament to, you know, how great they are in terms of my journey. It started off very light touch. So, you know, looking at things like pensions, ices, you know, just making small sensible decisions and as the comfort levels went up and, you know, I felt the trust levels went up. I was able to do more to support, um, you know, FLM and started to do stuff like BC TS Bonds, um, and have, you know, a fairly high amount invested with you guys now, um which, you know, for me is a very long term play. I think I always appreciate about Harry and Trisha are always there. Um You know, and they sort of support my entrepreneurial time lines that I work with so often, you know, they'll get messages from me late at night. Um You know, but they'll always respond back in a timely manner. So that's always appreciated if I introduce them to people, you know, they, they really respect those relationships and do the best to give, you know, really good solid advice. And, you know, I feel like the advice they give me, you know, isn't always, you know, advice. That's about the best thing for Saint James's Place or FLM or them. It's about me as a person and, and my goals and, and my plans for the future with my family. So it's been a great experience. I do often get approached by other wealth management companies. Um, but I always say no because I'm happy with the relationship I've got, um, with Harry and Trish.
How has your adviser added value to your life?
Lee veitch: I think there's lots of different ways that Harry and Trish have added value to my life. I think, um, you know, think about Harry for a second. You know, he has really helped me sort of think long term and, and think about the, the right decisions to, to take now they're gonna benefit me in five or 10 or 20 years, which I really appreciate. Um Also help me think about the right, you know, way to think about my cheek, my kids as well, which is, is really important. And, um, you know, it's like that stuff is invaluable, you know, is how you're setting your family up for the future. So, you know, massive value there. And then, you know, from a Trish perspective, you know, her tax recommendations advice, you know, has probably saved me, you know, a lot of money, um, or just give me really good comfort in some of the business decisions that I'm making. So, uh you know, both have real high value to my life and getting back to referrals, you know, you only refer people, they generally do add value to your life and they do
Why do you choose to work with FLM and your adviser over other Financial Planning companies?
Lee veitch: I think firstly, you know, what FLM and Harry interest do is, is really add the personal touch, you know, you're not dealing with robots, you're dealing with real human beings who are happy to, you know, share a little about their life, you know, share a little bit about, you know, their plans for the future and that just allows you to build a real genuine authentic relationship, which ultimately, you know, isn't easy to do when you're talking about money and finances because money and finances are incredibly personal to people. Um So if you, you know, haven't got that trust there, then it's, it's gonna be difficult. So, you know, I think what I would say is the fact that, you know, Harry's invested time in the relationship. So it's Trish, I think that that's huge. Um I think also, you know, the one stop shop that FLM offer, I can't understate that, you know, I'm incredibly busy um building companies. Um and the fact that I can get, you know, many, many services on the FLM, you know, umbrella, whether it's tax advice, filing or tax returns along with, you know, varied portfolio of bonds and Isas and other stuff. It's huge. Um I also like the fact that, you know, flm are not scared to also bring other interesting opportunities that are, you know, external to, you know, maybe some of the stuff that you guys do. Um So I appreciate that as well. So, yeah, I think um that probably covers all of the reasoning from my side.
Is there anything else you can share about your experience of working with your Adviser and the wider FLM team?
Lee veitch: I think other things to, to talk about, you know, I think the dashboard that you guys have is excellent, you know, although I don't check it often because this is, you know, long term investing for me and that is incredible just to be able to see everything under one dashboard. So, you know, big, big props of that investment that you guys have made there. Um I think like I said this earlier, but, you know, the sort of extra mile that my advisor Harry and Trish go to, to make sure that, you know, I understand things and whenever I ask 10,000 questions, they're not scared to engage in that. Um I also like the fact that, you know, they're open and honest about sometimes decisions I'm making they don't always agree with. Um but, you know, they clearly support, support me and support those decisions. So I think that's, that's pretty huge um as well. Ok.
