What is your name (if you are happy to share) and who is your FLM Adviser?
Jack Swaysland: Hi, I'm Jack Sways and Jack Dole is our FLM advisor same name. But the good news is that Jack is eminently more sensible than this Jack, which I found to be very useful.
Can you tell us a little bit about your journey with FLM and your adviser?
Jack Swaysland: Hi, we've been with Jack now for over four years. Uh, he was recommended to us by a good friend of mine and Jennifer's. Um, and I've got to be honest, we took to Jack from the start. He's calm, thoughtful, incredibly helpful. Um, indulges my utter nonsensical short-term this but keeps us on the straight and narrow with a long term plan has been really fab in kind of making us think about tax planning in the future and having our money in different pots and different ways to invest. So, um, I think he's great or we think he's great. Um, yeah, terrific.
How has your adviser added value to your life?
Jack Swaysland: Jack's added a lot to us really. Um He changed my view of investing. Um because to be honest, you know, my ideas were just, were nuts really. So it was pretty fortunate that we met him. He introduced us to things we didn't know about like VCTS like an offshore bond. He helped create a very balanced portfolio that Touchwood will kind of see us through. He's always very helpful. One of the things that I think he's brilliant at, he's really responsive and comes back quickly even when I'm asking him, you know, mad things. Um He explains very calmly why they might be mad and he's also brilliant at suggesting other things. Um So I'd say he's added a lot. Um you know, and I think his calmness is starting to rub off on me just a little bit. Um So, yeah, super. Really?
Why do you choose to work with FLM and your adviser over other Financial Planning companies?
Jack Swaysland: And that's a really easy one to answer why, why FLM and why, particularly Jack Dub Blais one word. Trust. You know, if you're investing your money, relationship and trust are key and pivot pivotal. Um Without that, I don't think you've got anything and, you know, I can say hand on heart, we absolutely know that Jack De has our best intentions at heart and is making, you know, the right decisions for us. Um So, yeah, trust. Absolutely.
Is there anything else you can share about your experience of working with your Adviser and the wider FLM team?
Jack Swaysland: Yeah, one of the, the things kind of we, we mainly have mainly 99% of work with Jack. But when it came to moving an old company pension uh into S JP uh via FLM, uh how many kind of anachronisms can I use? Um you know, he brought in another colleague really to sense check. His advice to us was the right advice. So I met one of his colleagues, I think it was called Harry uh who was also, you know, really super and very helpful, you know, based on my experience, I would say the people that Jen and I have dealt with at FLM are considerate, considered thoughtful, bright as buttons know their stuff can see the long term picture and can create a journey for you to achieve your financial goals with them alongside you.
