Speaker: Den Treacy

What is your name (if you are happy to share) and who is your FLM Adviser?

Den Treacy: Good evening. My name is Dennis Tracy and my FLM advisor is Jack, the dude dub.

Can you tell us a little bit about your journey with FLM and your adviser?

Den Treacy: My journey with FLM. Ok. So quite a few years ago, I was contemplating what I was going to do. I was thinking about retiring, uh, thinking about my pension, I had a work pension, uh, final salary which turned into a care and then other bits and pieces. So I met with Jack and Jack promised me that I could retire wealth and which, uh, I did a few years ago. But as you can see, I'm in Sh de Gaulle Airport at nine o'clock at night and I'm not here on a holiday. But, uh, yeah, I was delighted to work with Jack and Charlie and, uh, I, uh, took their advice. I've never looked back. Uh, and today I'm absolutely delighted, not only with the decisions I took, but with the, uh, support I get and hopefully, uh, the friendship I now have with Monsieur Dla.

How has your adviser added value to your life?

Den Treacy: Has Jack Duple added value to my life. Well, if he stops moaning about golf and about the fact that the rest of the team at FL A are so rubbish at golf that he's desperate to find a decent partner to at least give him a game apart from that. Yeah, absolutely. He enriches my life. I look forward to our chats, uh, uh, the, the personality that he is, uh, and the way he makes himself accessible, uh, and his honesty and his integrity and his sense of humor. Um, yeah, what's not to love about Jack the dude dub play, uh, the whole family, uh, uh, value his opinion. Uh, my two sons have got pensions with him now. Uh, and he's just an all round wonderful man, a great guy and a credit to the planet, I think.

Why do you choose to work with FLM and your adviser over other Financial Planning companies?

Den Treacy: OK, sorry, had to move then. Uh I, I chose to work with FLM. Uh for the simple reason that I got absolute confidence right from the very start in my advisor in Jack. So I'm investing in my mind with Jack. Uh and um FLM is just part of the umbrella that he works under. Uh but I uh I appreciate that maybe I could get the service cheaper. Uh But the absolute integrity and the entirety of the service I get from FLM leaves me in no doubt that I am working with uh a business of quality uh a business that genuinely looks after my uh wealth uh and has an interest in not only what they do with my money and looking after my money, but how I am at my wellness, uh my decision making. So, you know, when I talk to Jack, I talk about things other than that I talk about um wills, I talk about uh power of attorney and all the other things that I know are important in my life. And Jack's always there to share that uh uh challenge with me and to give me the benefit of his advice. Although, you know, at the same time, the decisions are always mine to make.

Is there anything else you can share about your experience of working with your Adviser and the wider FLM team?

Den Treacy: So, is there anything else I would like to share about FLM? Um, I was always having a bit of a moan with Jack about the fact that you didn't have an app. You know, I used to log on probably too regularly to look at my, uh, uh, the performance of my portfolio, um, particularly when it was going up. I always look at it when it goes up. Uh, when I know it's going to go down because of world events, I tend to ignore it. Uh, but it was always a bit of a fact to log in and get on my laptop and all that sort of thing. So I kept saying we need an app, we need an app. So you've produced an app. It's a fantastic app, but it's absolutely and utterly addictive. I think it's the candy crush of financial apps. I can't stop checking it and, uh, it's not a good thing. Uh, but uh, uh uh, other than that, you know, no, uh, nothing to add, no, no suggestions for how to improve things unless you can clone Jack. The do, do play good luck with that one and, uh, feel free to contact me if, uh, uh, you need any more information. My views are my own and, uh, I won't be appearing anytime soon in Child De Gaulle again, I hope.
