Speaker: Chris Brown
How long have you been at Fingermark for and what is your current role?
Chris Brown: Yeah, I've been at Fingermark for just on a year now. My role here is UX Design. So I look after all the product design as far as the front end, the look, the feel the customer experience of it And I work with our customers to do UX research as well to find out what works best for them and how to make our products better.
What is your favorite part of your role and the team at Fingermark?
Chris Brown: Yeah, some of the favorite parts of the role. Well, it's fast moving. We actually get to make things and put things into production, which is nice to see your, your ideas and your designs, going out to the real world. It's a really good team. So, it feels like we're on a Formula 1 racing team, you know you've got a really good pit crew there to actually make stuff happen. So that's, really good. Yeah, there's a lot of products to work on, so it's always changing. There's always something exciting to do, and there's a lot of really smart, future thinking going on in the company. So it's great to be involved with that.
What stands out to you about the culture at Fingermark?
Chris Brown: The culture here is something I haven't experienced like this before. I've worked in many places in different cities around the country. and it's very different here. Everyone's very friendly. No one takes themselves too seriously but they do take their work seriously. That's the best way I could put it. It's very open, it's fun. People say yes, workplaces are fun but this one actually really is. So, yeah, it's quite a special environment, quite refreshing to come to.
