Speaker: Tyson Anderson, Student, Cross Shield Financial Coaching School
What specific skills or insights have you gained from Cross Shield’s Financial Coaching School that have helped you with your practice?
Tyson Anderson: The specific skills and insights I gain from Cross Shield's Financial Coaching School is mainly to see the ability to help build confidence. I have yet to launch my practice at this time. But I feel I have a lot more to offer to people than I had originally believed. And it's also love me to see that if I have a surrendered heart to God, I can truly be used by him to help others in areas that I've struggled in and some that I still do and areas that I know I need to grow in or I know I'm further along on the path and I can take others with me, just hand in hand with God and we can allow His word just to light our path. So what do you ask for us? What's, what's available, what's the ability of ours and just being a part of the group and hearing others have their own successes and have their own struggles, helps me to see that I can overcome those. And I look forward to truly just starting and putting myself out there and being vulnerable and knowing that I can, I can affect change in someone's life and help to transform the way that they do their finances and behave with their money that not just gonna affect them, but everybody that they come in contact with and for their children as well. And knowing that I can start and be the pond in the, or be the rock in the pond that takes the ripples beyond what I'll ever be able to see in my life is something I just I look forward to and look forward to helping others to see that as well.
How has attending Cross Shield’s Financial Coaching School changed the way you approach your coaching practice and your clients?
Tyson Anderson: Attending the Cross Shield Financial School has changed the way I approach my coaching practice and clients by helping me to see there's a lot more to business and the nooks and crannies that go beyond just learning what people may need to know or understanding the value that I can truly bring people by sharing what I know and guiding people to an area that they probably desired for years and just haven't had the right person take them there or show them that it's possible and knowing that there's such a value in that and that I am capable of doing that exact thing I would say. I approach what I do with more of a understanding. But I can, I can lead people, I can guide people. I don't have to have all the answers, but I can be the person that helps point them in the right direction to the right person that has the answers. I can take the time to learn what they need and share it with them and hopefully present it in a way that they truly find out that they and they knew the answers themselves and that I was I was just someone that helped reveal it to them. One of the, one of the biggest things though is just value, understanding the value that I hold within me to bring others to their desired end and knowing that it's not an end, such as there's nowhere else to go, but it's a stepping stone to a future bigger and brighter than what any of us can truly see. And if we would walk out our finances the way that God would have us to, I believe we can, we can achieve dreams that we haven't even yet dreamed. And hopefully they're his dreams or his visions that he has for us. And I, I can do that. I believe that what I've learned in the school helped me to see that. And, as long as I take action on what I've learned on everything.
What would you say to another coach considering joining the Financial Coaching School, based on your experience?
Tyson Anderson: What I would say to another coach, considering joining the Financial Coaching School based on my experiences do it! I haven't regretted it at all. It's helped me to stay focused at a time when there's a lot of things I could focus on and I still haven't done a wonderful job at just putting this in a certain area of priority throughout the weeks. But every, every time we get together and share, it's just like iron, sharpening iron. When you meet up with somebody to talk about Jesus, you're talking about areas of your life that you're wanting to grow in and improve and understand better. And there's a wealth of questions that are asked throughout the homework throughout just going uh through the, the program itself that it's a deep dive. It helps you to see areas that you didn't know you needed to see. And my knowledge of business is not very fast, but it's, I've been in it for a while and seeing the areas where I can grow and understand that I need a be able to articulate the reason for wanting to do work with me. The reason that somebody would prefer me over someone else. And just understanding, I bring value to people in a way that others don't. And there's so many millions of people out there that I can specifically help others probably walk down the path they need to, to reach their financial goals that I can do it best are better than others. And understanding that gone God can orchestrate that kind of relationship between one another. And I feel more equipped to do that now than I did before. I sure I would have made it, but I feel more, more equipped. It's like I said, it's just the questions that are asked and the answers that you have to dive deep into give and some that I'm still working on. But I'm glad that I understood that that's something I need to know. And yeah, I would recommend it to anybody that's just wanting to pursue more and probably has already done some form of education in that area. I believe that this just helps lay out what business structure you'll need to be successful.
