What drew you to Faye Chan's artwork initially?
Fiona Aish: So I think what drew me to Faye's work, first of all, is her use of color. I love the way that they're so vibrant and that she uses different colors to contrast the more sort of abstract parts of the artwork and then also the details and just you know that the the striking contrast and combination of colors, I think uh I find them really, really beautiful.
Can you describe the feeling or experience when you first displayed her art in your space?
Fiona Aish: So when I first put Faye's print up, um it was in the corner of my living room above the sideboard and I was struck by how well it kind of filled the space and it kind of drew your eye into that particular corner and that it really kind of enhanced the whole look and the kind of approach that I was trying to achieve with the the design of the room. So yeah, it was great.
How has the artwork influenced or enhanced the atmosphere of your home or office?
Fiona Aish: So the artwork has enhanced the atmosphere I suppose of my living room by kind of being most like the final piece of the puzzle that brought everything together in terms of both the color and the style. Um But also that it brings back nice memories of a place that's very important in my life. So yeah, it's a, it's a really great influence and really great uh great feeling whenever I see it, look at it.
Would you recommend Faye Chan's artwork to others, and why?
Fiona Aish: I would definitely recommend Faye's work to other people and have done so on several occasions. Um I think it's because of the quality and imagination that she brings to all of her work and the way that she uses these vibrant colors and kind of imaginative shapes in combining the abstract and the the details together. Um which for me just culminating in producing such a unique kind of piece that I think it's uh it's well worth people investing in something like this from an artist like Faye.
