Jennifer Gadson: Top skills to be successful in this role is the ability to provide hospitality for each patient and family member that walks through the door.

What does a typical day look like from opening to closing?

Jennifer Gadson: A typical day at the Reston Herndon office is a multi-modality facility. We start our day at 6:00 a.m. with our first MRI patient, and we end at 10:15 at night with our last MRI patient. In between those times, we see Ultrasound, X-Ray, CT, Mammo, and DXA as well.

How often do you interact with clinical staff and other departments during the day?

Jennifer Gadson: As a Hospitality Associate, we are constantly speaking to our clinical staff in each department throughout the day. Um, if not every patient, I would probably say every other patient. We are continuously calling them, teamsing them, um, going to their department to speak to them. We, we have a lot of communication with our clinical staff in each department.

What are the tops skills for being successful in this role?

Jennifer Gadson: Top skills to be successful in this role is the ability to provide hospitality for each patient and family member that walks through the door. Our primary responsibility as hospitality associates is to ensure that our patients feel respected, seen and heard.

What qualities make someone successfull in this role here at Fairfax Radiology?

Jennifer Gadson: Qualities to make someone successful in my role would be communication, number one, how to be a team player, um, being able to multitask because there's a lot of multitasking that we do, and always having a willingness to learn something.
