Why were you looking for a business coach in the first place?
Mark Haycock: we came out of the lockdowns. Um, the business was stagnant. We were doing nothing new, nothing exciting. And it was Groundhog Day. I was hoping to change things. I felt the team. It is a some morale boosting and we wanted a direction to go in. And I've been listening to many of Chris's Webinars are the sessions he hosted over the lockdowns. I've heard him speak all the way back from the late nineties. I thought this was the man who could do that for us.
What would you describe as the main benefits of membership of The Extreme Business 100 community?
Mark Haycock: The biggest benefit for me is the interactions with other members of the community and both in the workshops. Where we listen to speakers who have been there, done that can offers many insights to help us out. The interactions with others in the WhatsApp groups and the forums on Zoom. Um, it helps you realise that you're doing all right and you're not, but you're not alone.
What difference has working with Chris Barrow made?
Mark Haycock: Chris has not only helped us visualise where we want to go, he's helped show us the way or several ways to get there and what needs to be done. Um, he's offered us insights both his own and also, uh, expert speakers who can get us on the team to where we want to be. He's offered a structure.
What advice would you give to anyone watching this video and considering hiring Chris and joining his community?
Mark Haycock: jump in both feet First. There's a lot of work, a lot of information to deal with, Um, but you will benefit at all. Add so much to your professional life and many other aspects of your life, including the lives of your your teammates and colleagues and family as well.
