Speaker: Dr Manish Chitnis , Dentist , Dental Concepts
Why were you looking for a business coach in the first place?
Dr Manish Chitnis : Chris. Thanks for the question. Uh, this is, uh, Manish here from dental concepts and answering your question. Why was I looking for a coach? Uh, obviously the pain point of handling business in 2010. 2011 when we first took over, uh was quite high. Um, there was zero education, zero knowledge on managing business in a more compliant way, managing cash managing team. The pain points were common as other business owners and a formal education was required to streamline and more so, trying to achieve accountability. Because I think the one key thing which I've learned over the last 30 years, is accountability. And if there is no accountability for anything in business, it can just go haywire very, very quickly. So I think that's the reason I was trying to look for, uh, Able mentor, Coach, whatever you call the person. And, uh, this is where I found you 14 years ago. There we are. Thank you.
What would you describe as the main benefits of membership of The Extreme Business 100 community?
Dr Manish Chitnis : uh, getting into the extreme business 100 community. I think it was for me. It was a part of my life because it's been 14 years, Uh, with Chris. So whatever Chris does, I have to be part of it because it's my family. That's how I think about it, because I haven't missed Um uh, sort of even a year in between. So I have been constant trying to hold myself accountable, listen to the new thoughts, read Chris's blogs, but more importantly, with the 100 I think that's a fabulous, um uh, venture happening at the moment with Chris services and products. What it does for me is obviously I have connectivity with like minded people every 12 weeks. When I attend the offline seminars, there is a, uh, connection with the tribe through various platforms, along with Chris Mentoring WhatsApp emails, blogs, uh, social media, listening to various experiences of like-minded people which are helping me without even going on the programmes. I can see my, uh, challenges being asked by someone else sometimes, and the answers are robustly discussed, so it's become like a great tribe. So I'm one of the silent person on the group maybe. But there is a lot of discussion, which is of huge value, which I keep looking at and obviously crisp being at hand, uh, for any kind of questions that keeps me reassured. And obviously, networking is huge. So somebody picks up an idea, and the others benefit from it. So the online training, the recordings, the offline training. So there is massive, massive value in the investment we make so highly recommended. And joining the 100 I think, is the best thing for me, me and my team. Uh, because it actually is a training platform, not just for me as a leader, but for my treatment coordinators, practise managers financial, Um, uh, teams as well as marketing and sales. So it actually gives a complete picture for me and my team of what do we need? And there are 300 plus, uh, content pieces. As far as I know, uh, which are ready to use, uh, within the tribe 100 to dip in and, um, get any source of energy as well as knowledge from Chris and his vintage stuff now. So, uh, absolutely brilliant. Thank you.
What difference has working with Chris Barrow made?
Dr Manish Chitnis : uh, the difference which has been seen with me and she my team after working with Chris for the last 13 14 years, Obviously, every year is different. Some new things happen and every courses we pick up some new things. Um, I think the most important feature I would say with Chris is he's quite direct, and that's what we like because he asks for some introspection. He doesn't give the answers straight away. He just says, What? What do you want to do? And he will ask us to reflect. He will ask us to look in words to see what we do, why we do. He has all the, uh, templates, resources, guidance material. He can be very direct to say Shut up and get get going kind of stuff, which is quite required. Sometimes, uh, the Molly coddling is, uh, not some days we do need the mollycoddling. That's where his shoulder is available. And he always says If you need my shoulder, just take it for five minutes and then get on with this. So there is a There is a tough love out here, and this is probably what is required for most of the business owners because most of the times we know the answers. It's just, uh the navigation, which is required. And that is beautifully done by Chris because he knows exactly where the person is just by just by interviewing us for one or two minutes. He exactly knows where the problems are because he's seen so many individuals as leaders, business owners and practises that we just have to say the first line and he knows the story. That's the beauty of Chris's experience for us 30 years, and I can sense it every time I ask a question. I know what Chris is going to say, and I look at him and I know the answer. It just his eyes, his smile, his look at you and he looks at me and says, You know what the answer is, mate, So get on with this. So I think working with Chris, um uh is has been amazing because, uh, once he knows you, he will guide you exactly what you need to do and be absolutely blunt about it. So if if you take it and do things, you see success, and that's what we have seen for several years and times haven't been rosy all the times I've been through tough times where I've been on walks with Chris Barrow paying him his heavy fee, which I say heavy in comparison to others, but it's worth it. But having a walk with him for an hour, uh, actually just gives us the reflection of what we need to do. So he was not even coaching or training me. Just took me out for a walk in the tough times of my business periods, and I would always cherish those moments. So thank you, Chris.
What advice would you give to anyone watching this video and considering hiring Chris and joining his community?
Dr Manish Chitnis : uh, anybody watching or hearing this audio, Um, and thinking of Chris as a coach or wanting to join the community. My sort of direct advice is follow Chris blindly, uh, put a complete faith in him and his, uh, guidance and advice. Follow him to the world. Copy paste. Just do exactly what he says in the first phase of your coaching and mentoring and you will see results. If you are consistent with what he is asking you to do and give him 12 months. And in this 12 months, you will build the trust and the relationship and the confidence on what Chris is asking you to do. And if you give him 12 months, uh, I don't think you will leave him just the way I haven't in the last 14 years. So in my head is copy paste. What he's saying, Get the right team on board, implement everything, and it's a no brainer. There will be success. Thank you.
