Speaker: Celia Burns, Practice Owner, Nothing But The Tooth
Why were you looking for a business coach in the first place?
Celia Burns: I wasn't actually actively looking for a business coach. Um, but I've seen a lot of what Chris did in the past. I've been to many courses and lectures he's been a speaker at. And when I saw the launch material for the Extreme Business 100 I realised that this was probably going to be exactly the right kind of, um, platform for me to use to be with lots of other like minded people. Uh, but with Chris's guidance and input, um, and I was quite excited, um, at the fact that that offered me some opportunities.
What would you describe as the main benefits of membership of The Extreme Business 100 community?
Celia Burns: It's quite hard to, uh, say what are the main benefits? Because there's quite a wide range of benefits, all of which are useful. Um, I love being with lots of other dentists in the same position as me. Uh, we all have the imposter syndrome, but we all support each other. I love the fact that we have access to the extreme Business Academy for us and for our staff and for our associates. Um, it's a wealth of material, which is just, um, unparalleled, I think. Um And then, of course, the the big pull is that Chris is the person leading it. Um, it took a bit of bravery, um, to, uh, go in and think, you know, what's Chris going to say? I'm I'm not good enough to be in this, but of course, you know, he offers the tough love, but he offers kind and supportive and valuable. Um uh uh, uh, information and support and and suggestions. And I just think that you know, overall, the whole package is excellent.
What difference has working with Chris Barrow made?
Celia Burns: working with Chris has has made some significant differences to how I feel about running my practise. In particular, Chris is a highly organised person, um, to the nth degree, and he uses various, uh, things to help him with that which I've learned from him and start using. I am not as organised, but having Chris there and knowing what he does and having that leadership to aspire to has meant that I feel I get through my, um, my jobs better. I do my spreadsheets more reliably. Um, and on top of that, having the three monthly meetings you you have, you tend to structure your work in three monthly bytes. Uh, which makes it a little bit more, uh, easy to do a little bit less challenging. If you're trying to look a year 23 years ahead, Uh, or if you're trying to lurch from the day to day, um, that doesn't work as well as having a structured amount of time and knowing that you're going back into that meeting in three months, you're going to see the people that you've been chatting to who've been offering advice, and you're going to spend time with Chris and any questions that he's got, uh, that you've got. Rather, he would be very happy to, um, to answer and to help with. And I've I've not managed to ask him anything that's stumped him yet. Um, so I'm still working on it.
What advice would you give to anyone watching this video and considering hiring Chris and joining his community?
Celia Burns: Chris is extremely good at what he does and is very knowledgeable. And it put me off for a long time because I felt I wasn't good enough. I thought I'm not going to be up to the standards that he would require of a client. And I was just so wrong. Um, I. I wish I'd worked with him sooner. Um, he's Yes, he's, um, challenging. Um, but he's also exciting to listen to, uh, he's fun. Um, we get to have great conversations. We we discuss and challenge. We disagree. Um, but the amount you learn and the amount you grow from being part of this group of individuals is just huge. And my regret is is really well, I I couldn't have joined it sooner. He didn't do the Extreme Business club sooner. I joined at the opening, but, um, there were other opportunities. Um, and I would say if you're un unsure, look at what he's charging. It's such good value for money. Um, look at what you get for that money. You know, you're getting that group of people you're getting his knowledge. You're getting the extreme business. You're getting unlimited access to email. You're getting, um, prompt response. Really? Prompt response. If there's an urgent problem, you're getting emotional support. Um, I know he comes across as being very sort of forceful and and challenging and do this and so on, but he's also a really soft kind, lovely guy. Um, and you will enjoy working with him. I guarantee it, um, so don't delay join today.
