Please introduce yourself in a couple of sentences.
Julian Iky Valdez: Hello. Good morning. My name is Julian A Valdez. I am 30 years of age currently resigning in Melania, Sibu Philippines.
What are your biggest strengths and weaknesses?
Julian Iky Valdez: My greatest strength is knowing that I can learn something if I want to, that if I apply and will myself to it and I really care about it, I will find ways to get better and be good at it. My weakness is my procrastination. In some instances, I tend to work on a task at the later time. If I am confident that I already know what needs to be done because of this, I tend to work on some of my task right before deadline, which is cutting it close. However, I am constantly working on my weakness to be able to make sure that I complete all my tasks in a timely manner. What I do, especially if I have multiple tasks is to set a deadline for myself. I would create daily goals for me to achieve. And as a result, especially at work, I am confident to say that I have always completed and submitted all my tasks before deadline.
What is the professional achievement you’re most proud of?
Julian Iky Valdez: In January, we had an update regarding a process for external funds transfer credit wherein the bank is no longer able to receive transfer of funds from another external bank if it is requested via the app previously, before the transfer can be completed. One of our responsibilities in the past was to contact the sending bank to confirm ownership and if the account had enough funds to complete the transfer, this was a change made by third party banks for their own customers account security. One of my weekly tasks at my current job is to listen to calls which has a dissatisfied customer experience score. I had noticed that there was an increasing amount of dissatisfied scores related to the new update. I found out that specialists are not able to properly explain why this change is happening. What I have done was to reach out to the project leaders, Herman and managers and provided feedback with sample phone calls, customer comments and scores. I was then approved to create a powerpoint presentation. In order to emphasize how important customer experience is. During this presentation, I had reiterated the process update that occurred in January as well as suggested spills on how to handle these types of difficult situations. This presentation was then used for the entire Sibu site. And as a result, I was able to notice a decrease of dissatisfying surveys related to the new update. This is one of the professional achievements I am most proud of.
What are the most important things you are looking for in your next role?
Julian Iky Valdez: I am looking for four things in my next role. Number one, I am looking for a positive team to work with where everyone has a can do attitude. Number two, I'm looking for a supportive manager who will listen to and consider any ideas I may put forward and help me develop as a potential leader within the company. Number three, I'm looking for a diverse work environment where I can learn from other people and get feedback on any opportunities I have to grow, not just as an employee but also as an individual. And finally, number four, I'm looking for an inclusive company culture where there is equal opportunity for everyone and I am confident and believe that your company is able to provide this environment.

Julian Iky Valdez: I am a good fit for this role because of the diverse set of skills and qualities that I have that are a match for the job description.
