Speaker: Jonna Mae Marquez

Please introduce yourself in a couple of sentences.

Jonna Mae Marquez: Hi, this is Jonah Marquez and I'd love to tell you a little bit about myself. I am currently 27 years old and I am from the Philippines as a person, I believe I am kind and understanding and as an employee, I uphold the company's values and beliefs and I am a very hard worker outside of work. I love traveling, reading and binge watching series to widen my vocabulary and also to uh promote work life balance.

What are your biggest strengths and weaknesses?

Jonna Mae Marquez: My biggest strength would be my interpersonal communication skills. Um because I believe I love talking to people and um I am also an effective communicator. I make sure that I am understood and that I come across correctly to other people. My greatest weakness would be saying no. Um in times it may, my task becomes overwhelming because I do love helping people. But right now, I am trying to develop to comfort mental live and learn to say no, sometimes if I believe that my task are becoming overwhelming. So I do hope in the future. Um I learn how to say no to other people. Um when it comes, when it becomes hard on me.

What is the professional achievement you’re most proud of?

Jonna Mae Marquez: My greatest achievement in my career was when I was able to submit changes in our internal company procedures and development in our systems, which made the job easier and better for all employees across the board.

What are the most important things you are looking for in your next role?

Jonna Mae Marquez: The most important thing I'm looking for, for my next role would be career growth. I'd love to stay in the company for um a long time and also to develop my skills and improve as a person. I also would love to uh master the policies and procedures of the company.

Why are you the right fit to succeed in this role?

Jonna Mae Marquez: I believe I'm the right fit to succeed in this role because I do have six years experience in the BPO industry. And I believe my top qualification would be my four years experience as a customer service, customer service representative for credit card accounts. Within those four years, I've developed a lot of skills like listening to my customers intently having patience and empathy towards them. I believe those skills make me successful and a fit for the role. And I also have a better understanding now of the American culture.
