Please introduce yourself in a couple of sentences.
Iris Matanguihan: Hello, my name is Iris Matangi from the Philippines. I have worked in accounting and finance for 22 years now and working freelance for the last four years outside work. I am a mother of two teenagers, boys who play basketball.
What are your biggest strengths and weaknesses?
Iris Matanguihan: My immediate superiors and coworkers would say that I am a reliable person, a good leader and team player. I excel at analyzing data for good information and reports, have good communication skills and easy to deal with. I am an articulate when it comes to bringing up ideas for automation and better ways to accomplish task on my area for improvements. I sometimes get too emotional on frustrations about the job and tend to panic, which I am continuously working on.
What is the professional achievement you’re most proud of?
Iris Matanguihan: Becoming a certified public accountant is an achievement that I am very proud of being a leader and mentor to my colleagues. Gives me self fulfillment and joy through being of help to others in this profession that I have lived my life with.
What are the most important things you are looking for in your next role?
Iris Matanguihan: In my next role, I would love to join a stable organization with family environment that values my efforts and contributions and also enables me to further grow in my career in accounting and finance.
Why are you the right fit to succeed in this role?
Iris Matanguihan: I believe I can succeed in whatever role I choose. Because I really value commitment and dedication. I make sure that I am transparent in all my dealings and always in pursuit of the goals of an organization.
