Speaker: Ganesh Ram
Please introduce yourself in a couple of sentences.
Ganesh Ram: Hi, reading for the day, Afghanistan and I currently decided in Chennai in India. Uh So tell me about myself, like, you know, have the close to 10% of experience in the field of and automation district. So right now I work with a company called, but I take care of the enter their work activities for all their applications and take care of continuous delivery, continuous integration and continues deployment. And I get my hands dirty with respect to um application deployment. And you know, I have my hands on with most of the services and your services and I can create and meeting services and almost all the cloud platforms. I have done that in the past. Thank God that I was working with Strawberry and which the company which deals with video and media related applications. I was leader, stayed there. I took care of automation for most of their software products. And also like, you know, I was involved in setting up all the continuous integration pipelines in Jenkins. And also like I wasn't worried converting them one of the competition into A I drank that with free fighters, financial it and applications. So throughout my career, I've been working from working for, you will stop place from India and Malaysia most of, most of the time. And I have absolutely no problems in working in working full time remotely in Eastern time. Us time. I'm used to that and doing that for the past 10 years. I'm very passionate to watch their work with very good skills related to it. And I read my post graduation in the works from Caltech, California and they did Yugi in information that one of the reputed colleges in India and university landholder. And congratulations. Uh So mostly other kind of person who would like to know, solve very complex problems in the area of the works and automation testing. Uh I would like to, you know, be involved in our organization which values develop seriously and, and I would be very happy to assist all the developers and you know, the States in second ci CD pipelines and also paved the way for continuous delivery and the environment using the States which they have acquired in my previous companies. So fingers crossed. I would uh that's, that's pretty much about myself and thanks, thanks for giving me the opportunity to. Thank you.
What are your biggest strengths and weaknesses?
Ganesh Ram: Yeah, to explain about my biggest strengths and weaknesses. Let's let me talk about my expense first because this is my technical skills during my college and during post languages, including my 10 year old in 10 years. And also on top of it, like, you know, I tend to keep myself during a plate of situations when things go around. So being in the world, like, you know, it's very challenging because you are the cutting edge, always like you get stakeholders uh this particular word, what was that? It was the best person doing when something goes down. So during that time, it's very important to keep thousands very calm and composed because like if you get tensed, you might not be able to solve the problem within the stipulated mention allocated time. So it's always important to keep ourselves calm and then we will know what is required to solve the issue because like whenever thing goes on in the box, like, you know, because it's a time based issue and you know, industry resolved very quickly and you can create a straight dollar impact. Uh let's say, for example, if the server goes down, if the application crashes, you expect somebody to be covered the political situation and then let's solve the problem. I'm kind of a person who can do that and one more biggest percent and which I have is very good collaboration skills with all the members though. Though I work remotely for most of my career, I was always able to get uh you know, the trust from my uh you know, from my team most of the times because that is important because being developed to develop a lot of tools and those tools are meant to do multiple things. And if your team does not trust those tools, it's like it's very difficult for those tools to be used. So, so those are very important states and come to the witnesses. And I'm kind of a perfectionist complained to review my work again and again before submitting uh that requires stakeholders so that sometimes like, you know, uh which I don't like about myself, but I'm going to, you know, do a quick review of all the rules that are bills and you know, what other activity that time, what I would like to know those things very fast nowadays working on that and one more weaknesses like, you know, sometimes I cannot concentrate on multiple things at a time. Um I couldn't doing one activity in a single time, but always like, you know, when, when I concentrate on three things at the same time, like my efficiency comes down, which is, which is very bad. But at the same time, like, you know, working on both of these really start. Um because like, I feel like, you know, working is really important because you won't always work on a single uh functionality or a single project most of the time. So a particular weakness of mine so that there can be a better version of. Thank you.
What is the professional achievement you’re most proud of?
Ganesh Ram: Coming to my professional achievement. I did say, like, you know, my presents have been nominated for the best employee of the year and I've achieved that free one time in 2017. I'm very, very happy and very, very proud of the particular Children. And one more achievement is like, you know, um have successfully completed my post graduation in the works. Um It's just very difficult because I have to manage my work, you know, concentrate on my post graduation. So actually that post graduation students, um you know, I don't know, I mean, like, you know, remotely from Caltech was one of the most significant a treatment in terms of my career. And also like, you know, I'm working on a couple of patents for myself. Um so that, that uh that have integrated pat, but I have done all the processes which is required for the application and I'm waiting for my interview. All those are like, you know, most significant achievement of mine, which I'm really happy of
What are the most important things you are looking for in your next role?
Ganesh Ram: Yeah, the most important things that I'm looking forward and mind you is like, you know, I want, I'm expecting a very challenging work in the field of that's number one. And why is because like, you know, when you do challenging, working with the opportunity to learn more new things and also to develop will still say, and I would like to achieve all the goals, which is, which is required for the uh in my future job. And I want to feel valued and always want to be the very cold part of the team because being in, I mean, like, you know, you have to meet a lot of people, a lot of developers, distance managers, product managers, everybody. So uh and also like, I would expect more opportunities and more growth and progress within the organization. So these are, these are some of the most important aspects and things which I'm looking forward in my new cushion.
Why are you the right fit to succeed in this role?
Ganesh Ram: Why I think that I think because I've been in this progress because I have the required experience, like, you know, I have close, close to 10% of experience in the field of and automation engineering. So basically, like, you know, I know how not to do things uh then uh like, you know how to do things. Like I know what can go wrong in the because I really in situations in the past where I've seen multiple service classes, application classes and I know how things should not be done uh to, to avoid being in those critical situations. And also been in situations that I have, you know, solved multiple escalations, multiple, you know, issues later works. And I know what is required at that particular point of them because all those issues quickly because I have that experience and also like, you know, I post graduation in the works uh Caltech which just just transform me into a very different person. Um because like, you know, how much ever you work then all is that you get by practically working on multiple, there are schools like Aws, I'm sure Jeff Docker and, and all that you know, transforms you into a different person. And that's why I like, you know, I feel uh fit to succeed for this work system administrator role. And I have already like, you know, right through the material, have been friends and employees working anymore. So I won't have the problem of collaborating with remote engineers and that won't be due to me and have been in situations that I have managed 400 to find their virtual machines as a single person when, when I was working with a project related to more P P P. And so when I was working for up to my Children, so with all this experience behind me, I feel like, you know, I can use my skills. Uh and that's why I like, you know, my technical skills, the confidence that I have in myself, the collaboration skills, which I have uh next meeting that the right fit to succeed for this road. Thank you.
