Calvin Carl Coderes: For my strengths. I am not afraid to ask questions related to the product to validate the idea and reason behind a product or technical decision. And I believe that the channel creates a good environment for improvements. We understand the importance of asking for help and asking if anyone you help to for weakness. I understand that my biggest weakness is that I tend to empathize so much with my peers and the company I work with combine it with my passion in delivering good product. And my let's find a way mindset that it can cause burnout and leads to overworking. I'm also working out uh tendencies to early or over optimization and complex solution thinking by keeping in mind the key principle trying to find the simplest solution first to avoid overthinking.

What is the professional achievement you’re most proud of?

Calvin Carl Coderes: Achievement that I'm most proud of is that I was able to spearhead or pioneer a product development where I created the boiler plate of the project. The architecture decided tech to use enforced standards. And I grew with the company started with two software engineers, including myself to almost um 100 of engineers. Before I left my position, I was able to manage a team work with stakeholders, practice people's skills in coaching. And the product I pioneered stand as a pillar of the company as it grow.

What are the most important things you are looking for in your next role?

Calvin Carl Coderes: My passion is into product building and not just into writing good and elegant code or cool stuff. Cool tech, the output has to have an impact on users and there are actual users that are waiting for it. So for my next role, I'm looking forward to where we can build such a thing. I value transparency and openness, good environment and culture where people can safely exchange and challenge ideas. If also I will be able to work on any javascript stack, that would also be my preference. But more than that I would value a role where there's growth and safe space to learn new things. Aside from that, um my preference is to be able to work remotely. But even so it has a good schedule for huddles and meetings to discuss task um have mind mappings and um product or technical grouping. I can work with any type of environment like Agile crumb or waterfall. I'm good with any of those. And I would value also to see the product road map and get a glimpse of the journey that we're all taking

Why are you the right fit to succeed in this role?

Calvin Carl Coderes: Why I am the right fit to succeed in this role. I have extensive experience in web development and has experience on a text act needed for this role. And fun fact actually is that the text tag used is where I started my career. So it feels like going back full circle with my software gaining journey, I can learn and relearn tech stack. So even if my current stack is a fraction of what the company is using, I'm still comfortable enough to utilize the technology. I can work on a fast paced environment and flexible enough to work with a team or just go solo. I have experience with agile and waterfall methodologies. I'm effective and remote and a good team player. I have experience in product building and will ask the why and what to be able to define user stories or requirements better? I can see clients or end user perspective so that my work, I can ensure good user experience on every development.
