Tiffany Daniel: The teacher that inspired me most was Ms. Peale. She was my seventh grade math teacher at Wesley Middle. I hope that she is still a teacher and maybe she will see this video. Um I struggled in math and I think that she seen that. Um I think maybe in the beginning she thought that I just didn't care and that I didn't want to try my best and it wasn't that I didn't want to try my best. I did want to try my best. I just, I didn't know it. So um she took the time out to work with me. Um she took time out of her afternoon, I stayed with her three days a week for the rest of the year and she tutored me and she asked me one day, she said don't you want to be better and I said yes, so I wanted to tell her that I think about that all the time and now that I'm a teacher, I always wonder like are my kids misbehaving because they just don't know are they not doing the work because they just don't know. So instead of you know, being mean to them or or yelling at them for not doing their work? I think about Ms. Peale and I pull them to the side and I say, are you, are you just not doing it because you don't know how to do it and you know, I find ways to help them, just like she found ways to help me and I really appreciate that and I think about that a lot with my own students. So Miss Peale, if you're still a teacher and you're still, you know, changing lives and helping students to be better. Thank you. You really inspired me. So, and I feel that you've got to help me to be the teacher I am today, So thank.
